Stephen A. Davis

Hey everybody!

Been here awhile and I figure it's about time I put some facts behind the face! My name's Stephen, also going by the moniker Feet For Thoughts. "What does that mean?" you ask? Do I spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about feet?

Thankfully, no XD

It's based on 2 Corinthians‬ ‭10:3-6, particularly verse 6 which says we "take every thought captive to obey Christ..."

In ancient times, a victorious king would put his feet on the backs of his enemies, making them a footstool for his throne. In like manner, I want Jesus to be Lord over everything I think. Thus, His feet over my thoughts.

This is also reflected in what I write. I've been writing fiction since I could hold a pencil, but since taking my faith seriously my desire has been to infuse my writing with that faith and glorify God through it. So, all my fiction will be clean with Christian themes. But don't worry, even if you're not a Christian I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

In the vein of C.S Lewis, my hope is to cast Christian truths into imaginary worlds, strip them of their stained-glass and Sunday school associations and make them reappear in their real potency, perhaps for the first time.

Outside of this, I'm a husband of almost 11 years, a homeschooling father of three, and when I'm not doing this I'm working as a Graphic Designer.
