Can you give me some tips on writing an Abyss watcher x Rosario + Vampire story? I have a current lack of inspiration for the beginning section of the book.

            Anyways, back to tips. I believe there should be a good method and reason to send the Abyss Watcher to Youkai Academy as a start of the story to build an intriguing premise. 
            
            For example, in Syn's case as a Hunter of the Workshop, there would have been two possible reasons for him to be sent to Youkai Academy, either by decapitation by Gehrman or being summoned by an unknown means (both of which being methods linked to the different endings of the game and still respecting the game's canon), with the second one being the method I took for my story. And so it ended up with Syn becoming a teacher for the very beasts he should be hunting, along with attempting to suppress his instincts to not begin a rampage as an interesting dichotomy.
            
            But in the case of the Abyss Watcher, perhaps you could make the Abyss Watcher die to the Ashen One and have them reawaken at Youkai Academy after their death, with them having to deal with their comrades all dead. Or perhap you could make the Land of Farron itself teleport to Youkai Academy, bringing the Undead Legion along with it, since the lands converge together in Dark Souls all the time with disregard to time and space.

In FFXIII when a l'cie completes their focus they turn into crystal.  What truly happens to their mind when this happens. We know that not many complete their focus and most become fal'cie.  The same way we never know where the hunters of the dream come from in Bloodborne.  I want to see someone write a story where the "sleep" of the l'cie who become crystals sends their minds into the hunters "dream" where (since we know they can return from crystal form) they remain until geriman releases them to the waking world.  Where their crystal form will awaken from sleep and they have no memory of their "dream" from their crystal sleep. The main character could be either Sarah Farron, lightning Farron, or a oc Hunter who awakens during the purge.  We know that ff 13 has some unique weapons like vanilla wire thing and the gun sword of lightning,. These could be why the hunter weapons are trick weapons sometimes with 2 forms.

I see, I'll probably go with making the Hunter still originating from Bloodborne and have him awaken in FFXIII's world with his memory intact (unlike Serah / Lightning who would have forgotten everything after waking from crystal) after the Mercy ending (since the Hunter would refer to the Fal'cie as Great Ones and producing Trick Weapons). 
            
            It'll probably be difficult to come up with a reason why Serah / Lightning became l'Cie, finished their focus, and awoke again (since you need either a new focus to stop being crystallised or have Etro awaken you) before canon, but I should be able to come up with something.
