@stilestastic honestly, two weeks ago I had an exam from 9 to 15, that feels illegal lmaoo. and i have this group project with the absolute worst group which has been stressing me out. and while this is going on i have a boyfriend which is fun but also so distracting hahahahaa. also minimum of 3k, jeez, you got this! good luck!

@HannahDottier i relate to this SO HARD. currently working on a paper with a minimum requirement of 3k words and feeling faint. wondering how i can write 3k words for a chapter so easily but i feel like death trying to reach even 1k for academic purposes. stay strong soldier

The Avatar remake is disappointing. I like the new lore they have added but not how. The show looks pretty accurate but to me it feels as though a lot of the essence of the characters and the world and the bending has been lost in translation.
It’s a shame, but I will say that Gordon is the perfect Aang and Dante feels like a good Zuko. Ian and Kiawentiio also feel good, but I feel that their characters have been dulled by the show and that makes their performances almost feel hollow

@koulakoukoula yeah it felt flat, and the cgi looked okay but also too saturated to me if that makes sense. it just feels hollow. the heart is missing because so much development has been taken out. i think we need to stop trying to adapt atla because the source material is so good, it’s almost always going to end up in disappointment

@HannahDottier I agree even tho the CGI and OST and how they tried to fit almost every S1 episode (they even added S2 episodes lmao) in just 8 45-minute episodes is an honest effort (even tho the pacing is terrible, too many things happen, it doesn't let you breathe) they kinda fucked up with the characters and their development was thrown out of the window. Zuko already knew that azula was daddy's favourite and that was his motivation from the start, Sokka never got the sexism beaten outta him and somehow all the ladies would kiss him on the second day they knew him lmao, we never learned about the solar eclipse, and aang and katara never actually learned waterbending from pakku wtf BUT EITHER WAY we at least got cool CGI lmao
