ngl one of the things that piss me off is seeing people judge a fanfic after reading the introduction or first chapter. It's basically "Don't judge a book by its cover" but change the cover with first chapter. When I read fanfics or just novels, I read atleast five to ten chapters before making a judgement. Because ppl who judge after reading one chapter mostly get the whole book plot wrong

ajisaisan

@Hazelnutsu agreed especially if this is their first book. The first chapter might not always be the best but you have to continue on

In our creative writing subject, the teacher told us to write an ending for an unfinished story about a college girl who got pregnant and her bf left her. Wanna know how i made the ending? The girl married a rich woman and they're happily inlove. (The title is in filipino called Uyayi by Alfredo moran) <3333

Hear me out guys, EVERY fanfic reader needs to see this.
"Ohh nooo why have you lost motivation to write-""
It's either two things: I have a messed up schedule and I lost interest.
It's usually the first in my previous fanfics but I have a feeling the second option will be the reason to my current tgcf fanfic

My genshin fic was created during pandemic and able to reach 100 parts because i loved readers reaction, their comments, enthusiasm made me create more. My twst fic was created when my life started getting busy and story was in the middle of plot development/changes. As for my tgcf fanfic, i BARELY see anyone comment their thoughts in the recent chapters. Like hello? Is my book boring? Do I need to revise the whole plot?

You can read fanfics here without money, but if you want it to keep going u need to pay with ENTHUSIASM. Make sure the writer knows how u feel. If they feel the story is boring, they will immediately drop it. Readers reviews and criticsm is what improves us. At the moment, I'm still studying for the semi finals exam and distancing from story writing. It takes hours to write and edit one chapter, so atleast, if you like a story, let the author know. That's all fellas. If u have nothing to say to this post, then skip, but if u have, lemme hear it.

Hazelnutsu

@WarGreninja I don't really mind, if you share it to ur profile (reading list) and can help boost the story, it can improve the writer's motivation since more people are coming to read, this also goes for votes. In Tumblr, many writing accs hates and bans ghost-readers (people who read without sharing and liking), because a writer's work isn't appreciated. To sum it up, many writers in wattpad either quit or stop updating because one of the reasons is this. And i hate if one of my works were to be finished because of this.
