I love stories with good characters, good dialogue, and good plots. I usually, but not always, skip over the smut; it is just not needed in my opinion, but I do realize that we all have different tastes, so its all good; no offense to anyone; i'm ok being different.

I usually prefer Fantasy genre of stories.
Wheel of Time and Lord of the Rings are some of my favourite books.
'Solo Leveling' is one of my favourite webtoons.

Some stories in the 'Finished...' reading lists, I actually couldn't finish; no offense to anyone; but added so i wouldn't try to read it again if it was 'recommended'.

Just because I did finish a book and added to my 'Finished' reading lists, doesn't mean I'd recommend them. There are some good and bad ones in there. I wish i had created a 'Good stories' list, but there is no way i am going back and reorganizing 600+ stories.

Items in my 'Favourites' reading list are stories I have either re-read, want to re-read, and/or am willing to recommend to others.

Venting:
- Frustrating when people don't know the difference between CNC and domestic abuse, etc.
- Disgusted/disturbed when people read a rápe scene and comment how great it was, or how turned on they were, etc. The romanticizing of such scenes is kinda disgusting. And to justify it by saying the victim 'liked it' or by claiming it was 'CNC' (though it wasn't CNC), well, i hope you never have to go through such yourself to discover the difference.
- I have no problem with CNC or any other kinks. To each their own, as long as there is ACTUAL consent between two adults.
- Yes i know these are only characters in stories here, but can't I have empathy towards a character? I mean, wrong is wrong... correct? Defending bad behavior with 'it's just a character' just seems wrong to me i guess? Bad behavior is valid and exists, so i expect it in books. I just don't like the romanticizing of bad behavior, to make it look like it is acceptable.
