Israel Bunmi Alimi

I used to be a fool,
riding on a lion;
now I'm God's tool, 
running straight to zion.
I'm no longer a cobra,
I'm now a soldier 
with the word of God 
in my hands.
Israel is with truth, 
the son who was killed;
in him alone I'll root, 
because I believed.

Hello, I'm Israel Alimi. 
I'm from Lagos, Nigeria. I'm friendly with a good sense of humour.

I love God! I love the trinity-- I'm grateful to Jesus for saving and caring for me when no one else did. (You have no idea!). By the way, he loves you too <3  just let him in, he's been knocking for too long.

I started to write poems in June, 2012. 
I showed people my writeups, and someone asked, 'Are you a poet?'. To me that question alone was a challenge and a motivation to be a poet. Well I had two teachers who held my struggling steps. 

I love doing all forms of literature: prose, play and poetry; but poetry is my first love.
   
I'm a Geology student.

I'll also really appreciate if you could vote/comment on my poems/stories.
