Hi guys!

First, I wish you a very belated Happy 2020!
As for me, I am glad to say that, after 15 long months and 6 surgeries, my cancer is officially in remission (you can never said gone with those things but its as good as it gets).
So I'm hoping to be back at work within a month and maybe back to writing too, even though my brain is still quite sluggish from all the drugs.

Also, I did NOT withdraw 'Viking Tribute' from Wattpad, I noticed today that it has suddenly vanished from the site. I can't even access it and it kind of adds to the gazillion of things that annoy me about the evolution of Wattpad. I'm seriously wondering if I'm gonna stay here much longer, considering the mess it has become since they introduced the new rankings and paying stories. Add this to the fact that when I asked for their help to negotiate a contract with a serious publisher (I didn't need them to find the publisher, I had one), I was told I wasn't good enough to be a Wattpad star and therefore they couldn't care less. Great to see how they support authors who bring them money by putting their work on this site. No books, no readers, right?
Sorry for the ranting but I'm really annoyed.

Anyway, I've got started on a new chapter of TVH 2, Emma, and might also begin Viking Witch, depending on how inspired I feel, and whether my stupid brain agrees to remember words, which is my main issue at the moment, memory loss. It's improving, just reaaaally slow.

So with a little more patience, you might just have something new to read.

Take care and keep well. Cheers!

@JVernis wow congratulations to a successful surgery and being in remission. As for the Wattpad issue I couldn't agree more. I want to thank you for blessing us with your books is an honor to be able to read books that are more historical than anything it makes me nostalgic. Be safe and take your time.

@JVernis I'm so glad that you're feeling better and I'm so sorry that you had to go through that. You've come through to the other side with strength and determination and I'm confident that you'll use that same strength to move forward with your writing. I love your books. Your characters are so rich and well thought out. I'm here if you need any help with certain words. I'm not a writer, more of a reader and proofreader.

Just read Viking’s Tribute. Truly was one of the best books I’ve read on Wattpad. The characters were so fleshed out, and set against that amazing world that you described so well, it felt as if I was experiencing it myself - which I have not felt in a while in a book. Truly amazing!
