In his memoir, On Writing, Stephen King wrote: "you can, you should, and if you're brave enough to start you will."

So here I am. Not quite sure if I am brave enough but I do know that I can and I think that I should, so, here we go.

There are so many great stories to enjoy in the world and so few places to find them. Bookstores seem to be a thing of the past. Where else to find a good story? The internet is here and it is flooded with stories. I am here to find and read as many as I can. This seems like as good a place as any.

There are so many characters and stories that I am looking forward to reading in this world, my new literary world. I hope to meet many of you writers not only to congratulate you on the strength it took to put your writing in such an open forum but to share ideas and share experiences, both good and bad. Writing is a skill honed by negativity from the outside, yet propelled by the confidence within such talented people. I cannot wait to meet so many of the talented that reside in the literary shadows because publishing risks are too great or the market is too saturated or insert a number of different reasons. Here, none of those excuses reside.

Put your work out in the open. It's not as easy as it sounds. It's not as easy as pressing the submit or save button. But that's what Stephen King meant by 'being brave enough to start.' This is the place to start, to get noticed. I can't wait to read your stories and I can't wait to hear what you think about mine, whether it be negative or positive. Thank you in advance.
