John Everex

Hey! Thanks for stopping by. 

I started inventing stories and worlds as a child and haven't stopped. Finding novels which beguile and bewitch me before pulling me head and heart into their world is what I look for as a reader. Trying to create these stories is what I aspire to as a writer.

My work comes in various forms and lengths, including some novels, but also micro-fiction, flash fiction and short stories. I also write poetry, being especially fond of haiku. 

I have published three books on Wattpad so far: Apocalypse Woods, The Disappearance of Louis Scully and Archipelago.

Apart from writing, I have a family, a greyhound and a full-time day job, which means I'm pretty busy...

I was shortlisted for the 2019 Grindstone Flash Fiction Award and have work published in several journals and anthologies including #VSS365 Anthology 2019, Fevers of the Mind and Applicious.
