Jonathan Davis

I'm a writer of short stories, essays and articles in military, military tech, international relations, and veteran affairs. I am a Marine, honorably discharged in 2008. Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, small business owner, teacher, writer and Christian. I've been published in Newsweek, Huffington Post, Forbes and many other online outlets. My answers to such topics have awarded me Top Writer status three years running at the social Q&A website Quora.

When I'm bored, I am an amateur student of cosmological science and history, particularly in the fields of ancient and modern military history, just because they're interesting and I'm kinda nerdy. My wife and I were married when we were 18 and have been fortunate enough to experience some of the most life changing events a person can go through together. I am from a small town in Oklahoma and have been blessed to experience some of the most amazing adventures one could hope for, which I am happy to share with all of you. 

I authored one book, I Drew a Monkey in a Math Book and Now I'm Married. It is the factual account of how my wife and I first came together as teenagers. I'll be publishing that here on Wattpadd. I will also be putting out a second book next year on the Future of Warfare. Yeah, I am kind of all over the board like that.

I am an independent author and rely on support from my followers to continue writing the way I do. My goal is to one day be published in print, and to make writing a full time occupation rather than just a beloved hobby.
