Kathryn Sussman

Kathryn Sussman, founder of The Writing Space, has a Bachelor of Arts Honours in English Literature from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, a Master of Fine Arts in English and Creative Writing from Mills College, Oakland, California, a Master of Arts in English Literature from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, and a PhD in English Literature specializing in African American Modern Fiction from The University of Edinburgh, Scotland. In addition to running her creative writing studio, Kathryn is a freelance writer. Her poetry and fiction have appeared in numerous online, print and television sources. Kathryn's experience with poetry also includes being a judge for the Canadian humanitarian and relief organization Ve'ahavta's  poetry contest for the homeless and for Wattpad's Attys Awards.
