Michael Laird

Michael Laird has lived and traveled all over the world and worked in a large number of occupations ranging from lifeguard, selling appliances, and running a rifle range while in school, and later as a missile launch crew commander, an assistant professor at a major university, a captain in special ops, and as a contractor/consultant in the field of software development since leaving the service.

He recently toured Ireland and Wales. Considering himself something of a Celtic-American, he hopes to visit Scotland in the near future.

He currently lives in Westchester County, New York, with his wife Linda. With four grown children between the two of them, they are expecting this to eventually lead to grandchildren. Even so, they still consider themselves much too young to be grandparents. Currently they are between dogs.

The Forged Prince is his first full-length novel.
