For a brief time, I was my high school's mascot. I dressed as a horse—a horse with a bow on its head if you must know. 

I used to sing in a band called Captain Automatic, but we all got old and busy.  
 
I've had a lot of jobs (beer girl, advertising imp, makeup artist, writer of movie trailers—"In a world without justice" and so on). But now I have my dream job and I get to write books. It is the best of all possible jobs.

Trying to name my favorite books makes me insane so I'll just bleat a few names—Neil Gaiman! Stephen King! Diana Wynne Jones! Glen David Gold! George R.R. Martin! Louise Erdrich! Holly Black!
 
My fandoms are many and I will gladly chat for hours on all things Hannibal, Elementary, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, Orphan Black, or Chopped (can't a cooking show have a fandom?).
