A life-long lover of cinema and romance, I grew up watching classic dramas from Hollywood's heyday. June Allyson, Cary Grant, Fred and Ginger, and all the rest were my idols in those days. It was this love that drove me to get my Associate's Degree in Film.

My step-mother also had dozens of romance novels or Harlequins. She didn't feel that I should read them at my age then, so I had to sneak them from her shelves or clandestinely read them at the library. She mainly read Old West or Pirate-themed, while I found that I preferred Regency.

Later, I discovered manga, manwha and manhua. Reading shojo books were always so fascinating and moving. I loved the character development and story progression that you didn't see in your average shonen. 

When I grew up, I lived overseas and found those same things that I loved growing up could be found in Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese dramas. It is impossible to watch a good romantic drama and not have a big grin on your face or feel your heart race. 

Now that I am living in the States once again, I plan to pursue my lifelong dream of writing. I want to gather all of my many influences into one place and hope that I can convey all the things I have learned to love over the years into something meaningful that touches you as well.
