Journalist, Master degree in Social Communication at the University of Sao Paulo in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and coordinator and professor of the Journalism course at Universidade Paulista (UNIP), also in Sao Paulo, Marco Moretti worked in various media outlets, such as the newspaper Folha da Tarde, and as chief editor in the children's division of Editora Abril, the major editorial group in Latin America, where he was responsible for publishing the titles of Marvel and DC heroes in Brazil. His first novel, I, Sumé, published in 2011, was among the finalists in the Jabuti Prize, one of the most prestigious literary contest in Brazil, in 2012. It is a historical fiction involving the legendary figure of the greatest hero of brazilian Indians. Currently, Moretti regularly publishes short stories and critical reviews of movies, literature and comics on your own blog, "Diário do Moretti"(www.diariodomoretti.com.br). In October 2015, he released his second novel, The Conquerors, another past historical fiction at the time of the colonization of Brazil, available for sale in paper and digital version.
