I found myself inspired. 
          	
          	
          	I met this person, and they didn't notice me, and they seemed really quiet, but they lit the room in a way that made me realize I had been sitting in the dark.
          	I tried to talk to them but I was too forward, so I just put that feeling away for a while, watching them smile from a distance while trying not to dim that light, until they were ready to let me in. 
          	Now, after enjoying this light for just a while, I realize I'm scared of going back to the dark. So I'm trying really hard not to breathe too hard in case I blow out that light and lose my heart.

I wanted to share this with all of you because all of this is because of you! 
          I attended a writers conference today and received three offers for a full read of my manuscript: Baggage Claim AND The Wrongs of the Right. 
          My books were interesting but what really caught their attention was the amazing response I had from so many of you. The fact that Wattpad was a known presence in the literary world is amazing and so humbling considering where I started six years ago. I’m so thankful for all my active readers and apologize that I haven’t been active as of late but I could not be half the writer I was without the amazing experience I’ve had here. 
          I’ll keep all of you updated but fingers crossed I’ll be able to hold my book, in print, in my hand soon.

Hi! Thank you for asking. I am in fact not Filipino. The Prince in White Loafers was a Nanorimo entry and thus written within a 30 day time frame with the idea being that I someday go back and edit my work (still working on that, lol). 
            It was not subtle of me to write it so blatant but my point was to definitively let the reader know that Dane is a Filipino character.  It is and continues to be my goal to write characters that reflect the world around me, and as I have very close Filipino ties, including my son, I work hard to give them a prominent place in my stories. My hope is to normalize marginalized characters so that we get a place in stories that describe our emotions and experiences and not just use us as filler. 
            Thank you again for asking, it appears I wrote a novel in response  I’m sorry for that, but I felt you deserved a true response for your patience with me.

Because my writing always comes from my heart, I have started a small novella to write as I complete my other projects. It is more along the lines of Forgetting Charlotte, but will be noticeably shorter in chapter length. If you have time go ahead and give the first part a read. 
          
          Yes, I am still working on Hunting Gods, the storyline is important to me and as we progress you will see why. For that reason the next two chapters have to be written in a way that will segway into what it is meant to be.
