A new section has been published in my work "Hyperfixation to the West", called "JttW Meets D&D"! It's about the campaign I was a part of where my DM allowed my character to have Sun Wukong in her backstory and it was straight up one of the best things I have ever experienced. Feel free to go ahead and check out what I have written about it so far!

Yesterday I took a brief glance at the show my mom was watching and even in the scene's dim lighting I was like "huh is that Jason Ritter". My mom and I looked it up, and it was, in fact, Jason Ritter, the voice of Dipper Pines. Keep in mind, my mom was wearing headphones so the only thing I had to go off of was this glimpse of some guy and immediately my Gravity Falls obsession was summoned from the back of my mind just to identify the face belonging to the man that voiced one of the main characters in one of the greatest cartoons in the history of ever.

Even with my brain hyperfixated on Journey to the West, Gravity Falls is a part of me through and through

Sometimes when I’m writing a story, I’ll write the first draft like a script just to get the general outline plotted out before adding in all the cool stuff. One of my favourite lines that isn’t dialogue that I wrote recently is
*hears the sounds of monkeys doing something they shouldn’t*
          A+ writing skills over here

Me this morning: *nervous about getting a camera shoved down my throat to see if I have heart problems*
My brain: Monkey King would be proud of you
Me: *shedding a single tear* you're right

By the way I'm fine, they put me under anesthetic and I don't even remember starting to feel sleepy. I do remember the throat numbing spray they had to give me though, that tasted like a concoction of hairspray, bug repellent, and dissolved pills. Also I couldn't eat or drink anything 12 hours beforehand, and I had to wait an hour before eating after the procedure, so from midnight until like 3 in the afternoon, I couldn't eat anything. Wild times, but now I can say I've had a camera shoved down my throat and I don't even remember it

@TimeladyNr13 I don't even know how to respond to this XD

@eggtoasted It was a little nerve wracking, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Thanks for the support!

It is the one year anniversary of my Journey to the West obsession and my mother has gifted me with the first volume of the Anthony C. Yu translation of the novel. I almost shed actual tears when I opened it.

Also Merry Christmas, that’s also a thing that’s happening

ObviousNinja

@eggtoasted Thank you so much! A late Merry Christmas is still a Merry Christmas!
