I am currently working on building a canon for Persian and Canadian contemporary fantasy. My focus is on casual and positive representation for communities to which I myself belong, but for which I find no satisfactory portrayal.

More often than not, I find myself writing antiheroines who play the role of unreliable and/or immoral narrators in my stories. As such, I am interested in dark, gritty, and comical takes on fantasy which are able to walk the line between dark academia, soft magic systems, and fast-paced plot with a modern finesse.
