@Potato190505 she was that type of person where it's nothing super special that she exists but when she dies you're like "errr, sorry people but I'm pretty sure there was a mistake. This is not a possibility you know." She's been such a constant in our lives that it almost feels like she's been queen forever and will forever be queen. We know she's not immortal but her being dead just sounds unreal because of how stable a presence she was. So many Presidents, Prime Ministers, Dictators, other Monarchs came and went but she was always "The Queen", so now that it's her turn to go it just feels wrong.

writing tip: if you have an idea, whether it’s for a chapter or a one shot, just write it. write out how it will go, put in shitty descriptions that still get across whatever it is you’re trying to describe, write dialogue without caring whether people would actually say that or not.
stop caring so hard about it being good the first time you write it — editing something rubbish is easier than trying to write the first draft perfectly. don’t let the idea or inspiration disappear, get it down and then perfect it afterwards. a reader will never see that first draft, it can be shit, i promise.

wattpad sent me a feedback survey and i essentially wrote them an essay on why more ads means less readers and therefore they should stop caring so much about money because frankly the rest of us give so little shits about it that we’re going elsewhere to read smut in peace
