She sits at her computer, trying to ignore the guilt growing in the lower parts of her abdomen as she reads the exact thing she should be working on.

Fanfiction.

Aware she's been blowing off her work for longer than necessary, she felt a sense of familiarity when the words she had read a few moments before were read again.

Giving up and opening a new tab she clicked back and finished her current read before going back to the now loaded page and forgetting what she had opened it for.

Clicking out sent immediate regret through her skull, forcing out a sigh. She waited for the page to load once again, this time watching the orange bar pop up at the top of the page.

She had gotten a notification; someone voted for her story and she was suddenly aware of her friend Guilt settling and making itself at home.

Sighing she checked their profile, smiling at the bio and feeling a sense of pride for a small moment before moving her cursor to the drop-down menu once again.

Her works were opened and a few clicks later she was staring at a titled chapter. More tabs were opened and a few words were read; she could remember how she wanted to start the chapter.

Her fingers roamed the keyboard, eyes scanning the screen of her laptop. The red lines underneath the foreign names of Korean idols were ignored.

400 words down, she checked. She stole a peek at her phone, noticing a few notifications. She picked up the small electronic and smiled at the Tweet. Opening it properly, she saved the picture before retweeting and checking her timeline.

Her eyes flickered towards the computer screen once, her concentration was already broken and words became a challenge to come up with.

A small idea popped into her mind, the same idea she thinks of every time this happens.

Every.

Time.

She clicked back to the tab that's been open the entire duration of her writing and time on the internet.

She wondered which ship she would read about next.
