Roger Stevens is an author, poet and musician. He writes extensively for children; recent books include The Comic Café (Frances Lincoln), What Are We Fighting For (Poems about War) with Brian Moses (Macmillan) and Off By Heart (A & C Black). His teen verse novel, The Journal of Danny Chaucer, was broadcast on BBC Radio 4’s Afternoon Play. An adult novel, Why Don’t We Do It in the Road, is available as an E book from Amazon.com

Roger played in Damn Right I Got the Blues, with author Ken Follett, but now plays keyboards in Robb Johnson and the Irregulars, as well as performing his own songs in folk clubs. A follow-up to I Don’t Wish to Alarm You But… (Irregular Records) will be released in October 2015. It's called The Position of Jupiter.
