Hello there lovely people, I'm SJ!
Though I'm sure nobody is really all that interested, I'll tell you a little about myself:

I'm 24. I am a part time writer, part time housewife and a full time crazy slob.

I studied writing and communication at university a couple of years ago, and since then I've been hard at work setting records for how much Nutella I can eat in one sitting.

Writing is the only thing I've ever really wanted to do or felt I could do to an acceptable standard, but it took me a while to realise that. I studied Veterinary Science for a short while before realising that I was only doing it because 'I'm a writer' didn't seem to be an acceptable excuse for looking like a lazy hermit. You know what I've also realised? I kinda like being a hermit.

I also love to draw and paint, but sadly I have about a 2% skill level!

I love dogs. Yes, I am one of those people that turns into a babbling, baby voiced idiot at the sight of them, or just about any animal to be honest! They're just so little and I wanna squish all their little faces!!!  I'm out of control. Please don't judge me.


I'm afraid I will be very slow posting updates to Wattpad, because I'm a perfectionist, and I find it excruciatingly difficult to share my work without having picked it over a million times. Even after having edited it half to death, I'm still not entirely comfortable sharing what I write, since perfection is an unattainable standard. However, writing is meant to be shared, so I'm going to do my very best to do just that.

As a result of my insecurities and holding myself to such an unattainable standard, I have a terrible habit of not finishing what I start, so I'm hoping that the lovely people of Wattpad will be able to keep me accountable to myself and force me to actually get things done. Currently, not even my husband reads my work, so perhaps if I know there are people out there counting on me to keep the story going, I might finally succeed in doing so :)
