I just re-read JAR again, and I had another emotional breakdown. Thought that initial breakdown in 2021 when I first read JAR would be a breakthrough. lmao

Are you gonna continue free fall in the future or is it abandoned?

Thinking about JAR again… 
          
          I’ve still been pretty busy with schoolwork what with it being my graduation semester, but I’ve been thinking about picking JAR back up once summer hits. It always surprises me that people read through the story four or so years after it was originally written, and I really do want to improve on it more — 
          
          Eventually lmao 

Happy Valentine’s Day! 
          
          I Hope everyone has a lovely day spending time with the people they love, whether it be with friends, family, or partners. 
          
          I’ve personally had a good day talking with my friends, and then spending time with my partner — it’s nice to just sit and appreciate how amazing it is to have good people there in your life. I’ve rarely had such supportive people before, and it’s just heartwarming, really. As much as I’ve struggled with things before, it’s good to have such amazing support from others. 
          
          So to those people who might not have a perfect partner this year and are single, don’t worry! There are so many forms of love to be shared, and who knows? You may find someone today~
          
          And with that, I appreciate every one of you who still checks in on my work even though I’m highly irregular in my publishing. It means a lot, and I hope to continue more work soon in the midst of my graduation semester.

          I hope the holidays have been wonderful for you all — regardless of how you spent them, you deserve a break to rest and be happy. 
          
          
          I’ve mentioned before about updates to re:JAR (my snazzy new acronym for the rewrite), and I’ve just posted the next chapter! It’s very short, and stylistically VERY different than what I write. But I thought this was a better way to depict the beginning of the story, and I hope you enjoy it (as best as you can, given the context)
          
          More chapters to drop in the following days, I figured I’d pace things a bit in order to give myself some breathing room to check things over with the chapters I’ve got prepared.

You know, it’s interesting, because the more that I continue on with the rewrite, the more I realize how different Mitchell has become as a character. 
          
          For one, he’s much less horny as a character, but he embodies more of the melancholy poetic nature I sought to capture in him before as well. He’s much more mature, and somehow easier to understand despite how indecisive and all over the place his mental state can be. Maybe it’s the growth of myself of a writer that helps me give him a better sense of cohesiveness, or having experienced more in the four years since I wrote the original version of JAR, but I have genuinely enjoyed recreating and redefining this story and improving on these characters. 
          
          I’ve yet to post more of JAR’s rewrite, but I think there will be an ample amount to enjoy once Christmas comes around.

Okay guys, finally done with the semester! I’ll be writing a lot more now (and actually release things too), so look forward to that! I want to try and get a good chunk of JAR done over the break, we’ll see how it goes ^^

Writing a bit this weekend, gonna try and put out a chapter since I have some time to myself for once 

Hey everyone! 
          
          Just a little check in point for my progress right now, I’ve been writing here and there between the work for my uni classes so work has been slow… but it’s still coming! I’m still aiming to have most of JAR done by the end of the year, though there still might be some spillover into January and February… 
          
          I’ve also been considering how I want to go about my more mature writings on here — it’s a little more awkward for me now because I have more people from my other platforms coming here to read my stuff, and I’m not sure how I want to present my uh… not as family-friendly stuff. I dunno if I should make another account on here or find another platform to more comfortably put those things on there, or just reintroduce it here again. Whoooooo knowsss, but any tips are helpful! 
          
          Anyways, we’re about a week away from Halloween, maybe you guys will be spooked with some new content very sooooon~!
