Hey, I'm Avery! Also known as mochishark. I'm currently an idealistic high school student with way too many ideas to deal with, so I finally decided to write them down! I work with a variety of different people on ideas and story plots, but so far, I haven't collaborated with any of them. I love a bunch of different cartoons and book series, but right now, I'm completely obsessed with Heathers: The Musical.
My writing typically features science-fiction like elements, sort of like fantasy, but with scientific background. I'll just put this out there: I have bipolar disorder. As I've grown older, I've had the honour of meeting more and more people whom have had the same experiences as me. Along with that, I've realised how incorrectly mental illness is portrayed in media and even in literature. Oftentimes, mental illness is shown as terrifying; those with mental illness are commonly portrayed as unpredictable and uncontrollable. It erases the humanity of the characters. It makes them no more than monsters. I strive to show a different side in my writing.
Although this account shows up as rather old, I haven't started writing until very recently. My only (serious) story is ELLIOT, which is almost completed!
Current Works:
ELLIOT: DONE!
Doki-Doki Doujinshi: Updates whenever I feel like it, since the inspiration for it comes sporadically.
Douted: -in the works- Unpublished, but already a third done. This story features darker elements and addresses society.
Feel free to message me if you'd like to talk or anything! I don't judge and I'd love to get to meet some new people!
