The best advice I was ever given was by a former professor who is an accomplished, published author. I asked, "How do I know when my writing is ready to publish?"
His answer: "It's done when you turn it in or you simply put down the pen."
The best part, and in my case, probably the worst part, about Wattpad is the ability to constantly change my work.
I am in education, and as I teach my students to write with conviction and edit later, I do the same. I may teach writing, but I am acutely aware that mine is never perfect. I revise and edit over and over.
I have been writing stories since I was a child, but I never published anything until now. I have a couple of novels that I am publishing on here to see how it goes, but I have two others that I am working on publishing outside of here.
There are so many authors on here that I really admire, and I am hoping that this amazing community supports my writing as much as they do theirs!
I work hard on my writing, and I reserve all rights to my work. They are all works of fiction, and any similarities to anyone living or dead is coincidental.
I would love and appreciate feedback. Constructive criticism pushes one to be better, and I embrace it!
Current work: Dangero(us)ly--Dedicated to my friend Leslie, who always loves a good story, believes in my writing, and knows true love when she sees it.
