Asetah 'ASEERA' Dula

Asetah (Tah) Dula was born in Philadelphia, Pa. She is one of 7 siblings born to parents married for over 50 years. She moved to Virginia in her 20's to pursue a better life for her children. There she studied practical nursing and became licensed in 2006 as a nurse. She then returned to school and obtained her Bachelors in General Psychology and her Masters in Mediation and Conflict Resolution Psychology. She has worked as a nurse, counselor, substitute teacher and clinician in pediatric mental and behavioral health. All the while never abandoning her love for history and writing.  She loves to write and is the best selling author of Contemporary romance, women's lit as well as historical dramas, urban fiction, Young adult and Suspense thrillers. She is a navy wife, married for over 13 years to the love of her life, Ryan. She is mother to 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl. She is also a pet mommy to 2 dogs. Their names are Majesty and Duke.
