Abby Dawson

Hello!  I'm 18, and currently attend the University of Toronto for English and Drama.  I'm pretty busy with school, extracurriculars, and work, so I don't update this website very often.  Nonetheless, I always appreciate an inbox and will occasionally post a short story or two :)

Most of the stories on here are old and far beneath my capabilities.  At this point, I pretty much only use this account to check up on the stories Leigh_ posts.  She's by far my favourite author online, and one of my favourite authors in general.  Check her out, she's genius (and her books are free!).  On occasion, I post a short story or update Abigail's Riddle.

Things about me... I'm really bubbly.  Or, uh, spunky?  Perpetually happy?  Basically, I am what happens when you mix over excitement, stress, spontaneity, humour, confidence, and originality together.  Every person I've ever met has listed me at the top of their weirdness scale, and I appreciate that.
I'm also a huge nerd.  I am working my way through every Shakespeare play, and chose my University residence largely based on where Margaret Atwood spent her University years. I'm never quite sure what I want to do with my life. My hopes are to become a professor, a director, or maybe just continue with my life as a theatre technician.  We just don't know.

My favourite books include The Language of Flowers, The Shadow Queen, Fingersmith, The Fault in Our Stars, Jane Eyre, and all the Harry Potter books.

If you ever want me to read your story (DURING THE SUMMER), just ask.  I'll also beta and create covers if the first chapter catches my interest.
