Hey everyone! If you care about LGBTQ issues as I do, here's an opportunity to help out. There's a petition going around to create an LGBTQ genre for Wattpad (rather than grouping all said stories under "romance," which is silly because not all LGBTQ literature follows a "romance" story formula; some gay people write thrillers and horror featuring gay characters, you know?). I think this is a good idea, and so I've been following the effort.

          It's been several months since I have been on wattpad. It  was taking up too much of my time and I couldn't find a balance :).
          I stopped in today to see if one of my favorite stories, "The Threat" was complete.
          
          It looks like you have been busy writing.  That's good to see! Now I'm off to pick up where I left off in your story.

          A new chapter of Descendent is up! Now that Kieran's gone, what will Cass do next? Can she continue to trust her friends, who've done nothing but hide the truth from her and put her in deeper and deeper danger? Come find out!
          
          Also, I know it's been a while since I posted, but this time it's GOOD news! I started my own business a few months ago as a marketing and business consultant for small business. Marketing is a good place to utilize writing and creativity skills, so it seemed a logical lateral move. Apparently, that was a good idea I had, because a local chocolatier has asked me to be her business partner and run her business! So as I type this, I am also devising ways to sells lots of her amazing truffles. If you happen to love premium, high-end chocolates, message me and I'll tell you how you can get some!
          
          Because of all this new stuff going on, my posts in the coming months may be sporadic. But bear with me, because I will pop in here and post whenever I have a spare second!
          
          And I beg forgiveness in advance, as I still have about ten chapters to write on this book, and I don't know when I'll have time to produce them! So there may be a delay later while I write the final chapters, but that's still a ways down the road.
          
          Anyway, I hope you're all thriving in your individual endeavors as I have begun to thrive in mine. Opportunities are everywhere guys! We just have to figure out which ones we want, and grab for them!
          
          If any of you want to know how I want from starving artist to sales writer and then ultimately CEO of a small business who still writes romping fiction novels, please ask. I would LOVE to share my secret!

          You may remember you sent me a pm in April for my story The Richmond Haunting when I was Gazz1976 showing me everywhere I went wrong. I told you I would not copy what you wrote because it would be like stealing and you told me, it was still my story. You just showed me where I was going wrong.
          
           Recently I had trouble with a hacker and had to begin from scratch well this is just a thank you for all your help. 
          
          And that I have not forgotten everything you did for me.

Happy Holidays everyone! I hope you're all having fun and getting your shopping done in time ;) I just wanted to let you all know I've posted two more (short) chapters of Descendent, as I've really been cranking out the chapters this month and the book will soon be finished! Yay!
          
          Just a quick shout-out to my fellow Wattpadian, Fanquinine, who has started writing her FIRST sci-fi/fantasy story! And might I say, it's one of the most original concepts I've encountered (so far). It's a great little piece of work--a fascinating creature concept well staged with high-quality writing. And did I mention the little bit of spoofy comedy going on? Hi everybody! I just posted the LAST CHAPTER of The Threat, so if you've been waiting for it to be complete, now would be a good time to start reading!
          
          I really loved writing this story. I'm still in love with it, so I do intend to write the next two books (the question is always time, as I try to get my small business off the ground, write all these novels, and pitch to literary agents), just be patient with me!
          
          For now, I'm still working on Descendent. I love NaNo--it always gets me through my writer's block, even if I never get to 50,000 in one month. Descendent is all planned out, I'm just writing it all out now. I'm 3/4 of the way done, and I can see the end! That's my favorite place to be with a book :) Anyway, I posted a new chapter of Descendent today as well, for those of you who are reading.
          
          Thanks to all my readers for your curiosity! One of the tough things about being in Indie is writing in a vacuum. It makes me happy to know you're all out there, giving flesh to my ideas :)
