Really like both your storys so far.

As you may have noticed, Chapters 8-10 have been released, but not 11. 11 still needs editing as my editor hasn’t had much time lately, and they’re the only person I trust to have editing power on my book. I’m nearing the halfway point of the book, and I’m really excited! Just a few more chapters for me to edit until chapter 20! Of course, I will be going over the book again with my editor and fixing things we missed in the first round, but this is to fix continuity errors and fix up the plot structure. I didn’t have a definite plot structure until late last year, so this is definitely important and taking a long time, however I do believe it will all be worth it in the end. 
          
          The story won’t change much after this. The only thing that may change is places I used the wrong word, spelling errors, and a few places I have to reword things. Of course, for the actual publishing of the book, it will be in a different format as well. Those are the only things that will change. 
          
          Expect to see many updates over the next coming weeks. I intend to publish Chapter 23 by the end of the month. I may not reach that goal, but I will try. Chapter 23 is some of the content I wrote early last year. I believe the finished book will be about 40-something chapters, though that could change as many “old chapters” are smaller than the ones I am currently writing. However I estimate that judging by what I already have and know of the book that it will be about 40.

Almost 1/3 of the way done with THOW. Had a bit of an issue last week, but it's been dealt with. Things will resume schedule (not that there was much of one). I'm excited about how far I've gotten!!!! Definitely won't be done by the end of April, but I'm getting there! Hoping to at least be done shortly after April! I have hope!

I am working on chapter 13 of THOW, and hope to have completed chapter 14 by the end of the week. I knew this is taking much longer than originally planned, but lets face it, I suck at planning anything. I'm learning as I go. 
          
          I promise that this is much better than my writing from middle school, and I hope that you will continue to support it. Once the chapters up to 20 are edited, I will begin updating the book again. I'm working night and day on these chapters, and I hope you all appreciate them. I believe I only have about 30-40 more chapters to look over and edit, and most of them are the newer ones. 
          
          The original version was rushed, so a lot of details I skimmed over, but I am putting more time and effort into it now with the edits, and that's why it's taking so long. At the very least, I will do my best to make sure you can have it on your shelves before June 2021. Quality takes time, but this is already greater than I ever imagined it would be.

Recently I took a short break because of my birthday, but it has gotten much faster to edit as I am no longer having to rewrite so much. I am now able to keep some of the original text, though with some alterations. After a couple tweaks Chapters 9 and 10 will be ready for my editor to look over, and I’m working on Chapter 11. The chapters should be out soon, though I have no definite time. I hope to get the book done very very soon.

Sorry It's taking a while. Chapter 7 needs to be edited by my editor, Chapter 8 is almost done, and the structure isn't changing much for Chapter 9 and should be easy to finish/fix the rest of the way. They'll be out soon, don't worry.  My editor and I have just been busy with our personal lives, and I've been struggling with more writers block.

Sorry it took so long to get chapter 5 out! It is currently up, so go ahead and give it a read if you were waiting! I’m working on Chapter 7 right now and 6 is already finished. I will upload 6 next week! Thank you for your patience!

So uh....Chapter 5 obviously isn’t up yet. My editor has been busy, and also, I’ve been incredibly tired... I keep sleeping really late, which isn’t good. I will keep working and get Chapter 5 out soon. Hopefully it will be before the end of the week! I really do apologize for the delay.

Chapter 5 of THOW is nearly done! I just need to add the last segment and have my editor look it over a few times for errors. I didn't complete chapters 6 & 7 like I wanted to, however I at least got half of what I wanted to complete done. The story definitely feels a lot more professional with the edits I am making. I hope you will enjoy the finished story! Chapter 5 should be up Sunday at the latest! In the meantime, I will start work on chapter 6 and see how much I can get done.

Chapters 4-7 of THOW should hopefully be out by the end of next week. I do have a tiny bit of writers block, but I am working through it. I have combined many short chapters, so keep  in mind this will be far less than the original 67 SHORT planned chapters. I know that my chapters are very description based, so despite that some are over 6000 words, it can take a while for things to actually happen. I hope the descriptive factor does more in making the story feel real than making it hard to read. I wanted for people to really see character's true colors. Most chapters that were 2000 words were combined with one or more chapters of similar length, and most chapters of 3000 words were combined with only one other chapter, IF I thought they didn't need much work. Chapters where I delete or entirely change segments take a lot longer to edit, and that is why the book has been taking a long time to edit.  Later chapters shouldn't need as much of an overhaul, and I hope after the next few chapters that edits won't take as long.
