I need therapy

I hope your emotional journey is getting better. I love your stories. They are a different but nice variation of the female Pjo stories.

@UnmotivatedButTrying take your time! This is just for fun in here not a job with pressure. Hope you find yourself. I like your twist on the female Pjo. A lot of them are eh but yours is amazing.

Thanks, I’m sorry for being so inactive. It means a lot to hear that you like my stories. I often doubt myself for even publishing anything at all and somehow I feel like comments like your find me in my darkest moments (even if it may not reflect in my writing). Just know that I’m very grateful for you messaging me personally like this❤️

Honestly, why does writing fanfiction get a bad rap? I get that its amateur, but it's really just a great way to improve writing. In my last seven years writing fanfiction, I've been able to learn and gradually shape my writing from basic ideas to massive worlds and concepts far exceeding the limits of the original works I've been inspired by. So why, if it can have such a profound impact in helping amateur writers realize their style and find their voice, do people think that fanfiction is something to be ashamed of?

@UnmotivatedButTrying no problem, I didn't know if you were including me into it so I added that just incase but I was acting a little judgy with my description which is where the confusion was so it's not your fault don't worry about it. I just wanted to clarify my point to make sure my meaning was properly conveyed.

@JakRye No I totally get what you mean and I didnt intend for it to sound like I was referring to you. I apologize for coming across that way, because I'm mostly talking about people who have either no meaningful understanding of fanfiction or a very narrow minded view towards it. I may not personally like certain fanfics or writing styles, but I think it's still important that those stories exist... I agree with you, and I wish that the idea fanfiction could be understood better by people outside the community.

@UnmotivatedButTrying that's fair enough, tbh I don't mind it and if it helps people get better at writing then good on them I just find it, or wattpad anyway, annoying when it is basically my entire homepage when I'm trying to find books I might like. Sorry If I came off as ignorant or judgy from my comment on the types of books I was referring to but it does leave an impression to most people that fanfictions are 'childish and for children' which is what gives fanfic writters the bad rep.
