Am getting an odd Wattpad message about getting lost on the way to a good story when clicking your notification about “The Boy Who Plays With Doves”

Writing is rewriting! so definitely appreciate a passion for revision — plus, as a fellow rhyme-and-rhythm enthusiast, I know it can be especially challenging to work within ‘the rules.’

@Ladysausten Hi there - I unpublished it as I realised I had to edit a few lines before making it public again. My apologies for this!

I just realised that I never followed you! ❤❤

@doofinshzmertz5 Ah, you had me at Keats and Coleridge. Yes, looove the way they created stories through rhyme and rhythm :)

@WinterlyHeights Honestly speaking I don't really want to bash out on anyone, but mostly the winners of all poetry contests have their poetry books full of poems that are very ostentatious and full of fancy words. But upon deep inspection they talk of very fleeting emotions.

Your book was one that struck me very differently, and thus, I was hooked. I love Keats, Milton and Coleridge- especially for their blank verses and of course the stories that they say. :)

@doofinshzmertz5 Aww, thank you for your kind words :)
I'm sure you'll get the hang of it if you keep practising every day.

Yeah, awards are tricky. I don't mind if I don't get anything, as it's all a learning experience :) Also, it all depends on the judge. If they're more into glittery, flowery free-verse then that's what they're into. I can't really write like that but that's fine :)
