hey, everyone, i am finally back! I have way too many notifications to be able to respond to everyone, so if I don't respond to an urgent notification or request, feel free to let me know!
although I am back, I will not be active after this post, as summer is ending and my schedule is packed tight for the fall/winter season. additionally, i've been considering closing Essie's Critiques for good, as 122 parts is pretty long, and i've found several issues with my system and rules.
Instead, I may be opening an Essie's Critiques 2.0! Please let me know what you think below; any feedback or suggestions are welcome! I'll try my best to reply when I can.

@WritersBlock1316 I’d so love an Essie’s Critiques 2.0! Your critique book was the best one I’ve ever read, I’ve never seen any stupid advice given there like “you need to change the main character’s name”, you only ever gave constructive criticism that could sometimes be brutally honest, but never came across as hate or anything like that. You never said “I hate this” and left it at that, you were always “I think your book could be improved by doing etc”. I requested a review from you when I was very new to writing and publishing on Wattpad and your review left a very helpful, long-lasting impact on me. I still sometimes come back to it when I need to remember what weakness I need to avoid—and I also come back to the reviews you leave for others, to make sure I don’t make similar mistakes. So, yeah, a second critique book would be super cool! Sorry for this long rant lol
