Long overdue but I promise I’ll post by Sunday, might be the last update in a bit since school has started again

Sometimes, I wish I could understand other languages so I could read Satzu books that are written in other languages…

Anyways good news to COL readers, I’m nearly done with the newest chapter and all I can say is it’ll be a heavy one. There’s a bit more use of detailed metaphors too which may not be the easiest to grasp cause I’m still dabbling in it, so it won’t be perfect but I’ll be there to help with any questions.

I like to write my books in a way that reflects a person’s self journey, so the book isn’t just centred towards a single point but instead multiple points that help with the growth of the character, so this chapter may not exactly be what your looking for, considering what happened in chapter 26…but it’s a necessary step in the characters development.

Anyways, stay tuned to an update soon to come!

@ Yodalixious Haha I understand that well, I'm Brazilian and there are many stories in Tagalog that seem very interesting, but I don't understand a single word.

            I'm really excited for COL.

I've been reading a few third person pov stories to understand how to write in third person pov better. I've come to realise there's quite a few differences in terms of actions and emotions that can be depicted in both third person pov and first person pov.

At least to me, first person pov allows me to write more emotionally with the character, for easier resonance with the character but it lacks some action in terms of having to turn a blind eye to some actions that the other party may be doing. It's hard to depict the reciprocation or lack thereof through the use of first person pov.

Third person pov allows for actions by both parties to be depicted much clearer, but I feel the emotional aspect is slightly lower. It's basically the opposite of first person pov.

So now I've come to a dilemma, should I try out a third person pov style in my next book (may change TCS writing style from first person POV to third person POV)

I'm planning to stick to the first person pov in COL, to cause less confusion from the sudden switch in writing style. But there are things I regret because it's first person POV and is therefore lacking some things I would love to add.

Please let me know your thoughts and opinions on which style you would prefer? First person or third person? Thank you for reading!

@Yodalixious No problem ;) Btw I really like Chemistry of Love, I can't wait for the next chapter! The way that you're writing is really impressive and it's really fluid ! I found it different from the others books that I already read . Anyway thanks you for wishing me luck :-)

@SaTzu4ev3r Thanks for your input! I haven't really tried third person POV before since I wasn't too sure on how to write in that format when I first started my books. I've also thought of using first and third person POVs interchangeably in a book but in my opinion, it may be rather confusing to readers with the number of changes in first or third person POVs. I think I'll decide whether to do first or third person POV when the time comes to start on my next book, TCS. Appreciate your feedback immensely and wishing you the best of luck with your book!

I'm trying to write a book too and I have the same opinion as you , but I'm struggling with 3rd pers. POV . Because of that, it can destroy my own eyes when I read this, so I think that if you're good at writing as 3rd person POV you should try this style . If you're not comfortable, you can try switching both of the person during the story to upgrade your skills in 3rd POV .
Also, 3rd pov is a great way to describe some scenes or smth like this, as you said it's not great to use it to describe feelings . So 3rd POV should not be used to develop the emotions imo .
Also I prefer 1rst person because we can develop a lot, even if I'm not the best for this and that I try to upgrade my skills . But it's a way to be understood and related to the characters i think .
But anyway! You do what you want, it's only my opinion and I hope that I helped you !!
            Good luck :)

I just realised how all my books/ ideas are of so different genres and plot. From forbidden love (COL), also kinda forbidden love but mafia style (TCS) and lastly, a dream come true (FTR: unreleased but coming soon!(at least after COL is finished)).
