I don’t even know where to start with this so I’ll start by saying hello .
It’s been a year since I’ve touched Wattpad and in that year so much of life has changed. I’ve grown as a woman, started new journeys in life and even finished a novel.
Yet 2022 was a year of loss for me. I’ve grieved a lot this year and a lot of that time has taken me away from writing.
With 2023 on the horizon, I’ve dedicated and carefully crafted a writing plan to ensure that this year is my best year yet as a writer. I want more than to just post feeble updates here and there for y’all. I want to genuinely cultivate a writing community that thrives .
I’ll have more updates for you all in the coming days but today felt like the perfect day to announce my return to writing and the works I love so much.

Happy Holidays. Dealing with death is always difficult but I have decided to take that pain and channel it into my writing. So for those that are asking, A Darker Hue of You and For Their Entertainment will get on consistent update schedules in 2021. I will also be updating them both over the next couple of days so be on the lookout. Thank you for always supporting me!

I am about to try something that people would recommend I don't, but I am going to be writing THREE books during NaNoWriMo. I will be finishing both For Their Entertainment and A Darker Hue of You as well as writing a new novel that I havent reallt chosen yet (I have three potential ones that I want to explore). What are you all doing for NaNoWriMo if you're participating?

@alwaysoldenough I think it depends on if a writer has enough time and energy to go ahead with a story. Most importantly is if the author likes what she/ he will write about. Many times I wanted to put 'that pen and paper down and tell myself "doggone it, I hate it' and want to erase everything, but I don't. Keep telling myself to just write. And I'll have beta editors tell me what's wrong with it instead. I work one story at a time now, because I just can't concentrate if I have many things on my mind. BURN OUT! Has happened to me numerous times. LOL as I used to like leading teams. But my time is done, need to focus on my health and write when I can.

@Glory_feeling2 I know the feeling! I've been deciding if I want to enter another award or something lately but honestly I just want to finish what I've already started so I can write more lol

@alwaysoldenough Wow, 3 books? Good Luck! And the key is don't be too hard on yourself if you can't achieve that goal. I did that to myself during my first story ... Seize the Day My Love - well ... It's still on editing hold. I got negative comments on it, but I learned to tame myself to accept it ... as a way to improve my writing. Not participating in Nanowrimo. Nor any contest for a while cause I want to take a break .
