i’m grateful i can come on here and see everyone’s supporting comments. you guys really helped me realize i shouldn’t put pressure on myself over viridity and it’s helped me clarify how i’d like to go forward with the series.

i started viridity when i was thirteen. it started off as a very disorganized and dramatic book that was written in first person and was just a jumble of ideas that didn’t really fit together. as the book got a following i started to go back over my work and decided it needed a change. i rewrote everything from the first person to third person and changed things that didn’t fit. grand majority of viridity was written when i was 16. and even though i was more mature than my 13 year old self, my almost 20 year old self sees all the things i should’ve done differently. at this point i don’t have it in me to rewrite this book again, so i’ll ask you guys what you would like to see me do.

first option, i can just discontinue the series and work on something new. second option is that i can write a short story covering the rest of the series in a much shorter and less detailed way than i had planned. the thing is that i know what i want the rest of maras story to be, i had a third and final book planned out but never started it as i haven’t even finished the second book. so i guess a third option would be for me to pass this information on to another author and leave it in their hands to finish the series.

let me know what you guys think! p.s thank you all so much for 1M reads on viridity. i love you guys!

I'll be sad to see that you weren't able to finish it to the plan you had. I think the second option is the best, if not, the third. But do whatever makes you the most comfortable.

You are honestly the most amazing writer I've ever had the pleasure to stumble across. Despite the dark nature of your stories, I find a sort of comfort in your writing and has even inspired me to take up Vaganova Ballet. I hope you're doing well and that you continue to do whatever makes you happy. Thank you for your book :)
