Hi and welcome to my humble abode,

Take a passing glance, a quick look and see.
Let's take a pleasant walk along life's road,
Where in the end, we will all be set free.

Strolling along the twisted trail of life,
Across the mountains, going downwards steep,
Taking a risk, leaping, soaring from strife.
The world is small and the fall's fairly deep.

Before you jump, please consider amends,
Life's not cruel and fate isn't misery.
The road can only hold that many bends,
The path's still long, continue your journey.

If you're reading this, I'm at your mercy,
I implore that you don't end up like me.

(Alright, this doesn't make sense at all. I attempted a quick sonnet, turned out like this. Written on 05/07/19. Cause: Boredom.)
