Two pretty large updates!
1. As I'm sure a lot of you have noticed, I took The Toothbrush Effect down. I'm not very active on this site very much anymore, but I found myself keeping TTE up because it continued to get traffic. I was not proud of it, as a work. I did not have any positive feelings toward it, besides slight fondness for it having been my first wlw story, ever. I decided my happiness came before validation from strangers online, and drafted it. I might decide to put it back up eventually, but for now, it's taking a break.
2. I'm doing NaNo this year! I know! I don't post any of my writing on here anymore, for various reasons. The site's getting much harder to get traction on, there's a specific writing style you're expected to follow in order to get reads that genuinely doesn't hold up to actually published book standards and therefore will drag your writing down, and I don't much care for the paywall that's been getting shoved down everyone's throats more and more over the last few years, just to name a few. THAT BEING SAID, I've made a discord server for people participating in NaNoWriMo this year, where you can ask second opinions, brainstorm with others, get help, find word race partners, check for daily updates on what word count total you should be at, and more. I ask that you be at least 18, just for everyone's safety involved, because I can't ensure what topics people will be writing about, and I also ask that you don't support/defend/normalize any harmful topics, like inc*st, p*dophilia, abuse, or r*pe, also for the safety of everyone involved.
