i know nothing about f1 but i keep getting all these tiktoks about lewis hamilton moving from mercedes to ferrari and i need one of the f1 girlies on here to explain it to me like i’m 5

@hearthaleydunphy ok so basically Lewis is like very good (he’s won the overall thing 7 times) and he has been with Mercedes for 11 yrs and Ferrari is very bad sometimes at doing the right tactics so Lewis moving there is a shock and he is replacing this guy called Carlos who is like besties with his teammate Charles (who is staying and is going to be Lewis’ teammate) and it’s just sort of a massive shock.
