Okay, I promise I'm not dead y'all just in college which means I'll be on here less and less. As for any writing, I doubt I'll post anything soon. Peace out and y'all have a good week.

I was at work yesterday and a lady said to her daughter "I hope you marry a rich guy". I think society should stop telling women this because it puts us in a box that not every woman fits in. My dad always said to "be the leader and not the follower" and my mother always said "if you want something, go out and work for it," and I live by their statements.  Would I like to get married and maybe settled down, absolutely but I always want to achieve my goals in my career. I want to find ways to invest and I want to have financial stability as an adult and maybe help out my parents who gave me opportunities that I am so thankful for. I think my goals are beyond what people expect but I want women to find success in their work as much as men. 

A question for all my artists out there; do you erase your art if it's cringe or do you keep it?

I don't think people really understand that being alone can actually be a good thing. I've lost people recently and have been alone but for once I'm actually happy to be alone. When you learn to enjoy the presence of yourself, being alone is less miserable. 
          
          Being alone can be a time for you to shine and bring out your inner warrior or discover yourself and your potential. We need people in our lives yes but we also need to maintain, care, and protect ourselves, even if that means being alone. 
          
          If any of you feel alone, just know that it's okay. You will get through this and maybe discover something in you that you didn't know.

I'm 18 and I'm obsessed with another kids show. I LOVE Amphibia! Why do they have to make kid shows so good!? I'm only on season 2 and I've seen some spoilers but I love where it's heading. I've realized that I still have the heart of a child and that will never change. 
          
          Also let's normalize adults watching kid shows I mean, adults voiced the characters and did the animation so why shouldn't adults enjoy the show too. 

Has anyone mastered the art of customer service? I used to work at CFA and my job now still requires customer service. But even if a simple person greets me as I walk in the door to the grocery store, I can easily talk in a higher pitch voice and sound gentle even if I'm having a rough day or really fustrated. I feel like a lot of people can relate to this.

Y'all I miss posting artwork. I mean, I doddle quite a bit but I haven't posted something from my sketchbook in a while. Since Valentine's is coming up, I'm going to be doing a project! I want to write a short story but I don't think I'll be able to finish before that. I want to get the character drawings out first so lookout for those coming soon and more updates!
