hey everyone! i haven't been online in what feels like an actual millennia so i'm not sure if anyone will even notice this message, but i have some things i really need to say. with everything going on in my life, i've been feeling really thankful for many things, and one of them is the wattpad community.

my imagination, restless creativity, and love of language has always been my refuge. from when i was a teeny-tiny little girl, it was basically my superpower. it's something utterly my own that no one can take away from me—something that i can mould and shape and change, growing and learning as i am. in 2016, this imagination lead me to dabble in the world of writing. it was an incredibly rough process. seriously. while writing did become my passion, it doesn't mean that it was not incredibly stressful and difficult. i spent hours each day trying to "find my style" and compared myself to literary geniuses, becoming terrified with the idea of Imperfect First Drafts. but wattpad made writing fun.

when i was 12, i published my first work on wattpad, and it began to get attention. people i didn't know were actually interested in the writing that i believed was absolute garbage??? wow!!! it was groundbreaking for twelve-year-old me. but the most monumental moment came with the release of Knee Socks. i was 13 when i published it on a whim, and now, over two years later, it has 42, 755 reads...legend has it that this fact will never not make me cry.

without wattpad, i wouldn't have the platform, but without all the amazing, genuine people who read my books (aaa!!!), i would not have had the courage to stay on the path of writing. even though i've never met any of you, i am so thankful for your messages, comments, feedback, and support. it is truely everything to me - the fact that my writing—something so personal and close to my heart—is something that is widely enjoyed, and even loved.

sending all my love and sincerest gratitude,
          	eve.

I didn't want to finish your book "knee socks" because when it ends, I would be stolen of descriptions I could only dream about. I finished it anyway, and I was happy to know you had other books.

          Please, please keep writing.

          Love and letters,
          Lilia
