This 4 day truce is being set into plan because of Balck Friday, Christmas and Thanksgiving. People will go on shopping sprees and all the boycotting we are doing will go to waste. This truce is a way for the IDF to replenish their income to do further destruction. We can't let that happen. How many more must die before the world relatives what's happening? 
          
          Do Muslim lives not matter? What makes us so superior to those God-fearing people who have always stood up no matter the circumstances? Who are we to stand blind to a genocide that rivals that of the Nazi? More children in Palestine have been killed in a week than that of Ukraine from a year. 
          
          They need our help. They want us to speak out and call for a ceasefire. People of the world, we can't let this continue further. Call for a ceasefire. Speak up and spread the voice of the Palestinians! Donate as much as you can. 20,0p0 lives aren't enough for Israel but we can change the tides of fate. Only if we stand as one. Do it for the sake of humanity. Do it for a country facing oppression from 75 years. Do it for a child who is now alone in this world with no one. Do it for a country whose been fighting for freedom for one too many years. Do it for a better world.

Every person lost is one too much, simply reduced to numbers. Israel claims it's the victim but which victim cuts off medical aid, water, food, electricity and imprisons children and women for throwing stones? Which victim simultaneously bombs 3 countries? Every year 500-700 children are taken as prisoners by Israel, the youngest children being 12. A sentence of 20 years for throwing stones. Is this what the world is standing up for? Is this what you're standing up for? 
          
          This is just a glimpse of the genocide in Palestine. Who knows what other horrors are still hidden by the media? They've agreed on a truce of temporary ceasefire and yet, Israel is shooting at Palestinans and using tear gas. Hostages that have been released from Israel talk of being tortured, physically and mentally. The hostages staying with Hamas however are healthy and smiling and waving as they're returned. The difference in stark and loud, if only you look beyond what the media shows.
          
          

 They've bombed churches, schools, houses, mosques, buildings, and even hospitals! They not even left hospitals where the wounded are. Israel has cut off water, food, electricity and communication from outside world. No medical supplies so the doctors are performing surgeries without anesthesia on streets. Is this humane? Even after death, Isreali soldiers are exhuming bodies. 
          
          Bodies are scattered beneath the rubble. Limbs of little kids strewn across the landscape their bames written on their skin in black ink. A Father carries his children's remains in a bag. A mother sees her son bombed in front of her eyes. A sister watches as her brother is places in the ice cream truck which is filled with the dead. A child grieves as she recognizes her mothers hair from among the dead. A grandfather kissed his grandchild saying, "She was the soul of my soul."
          
          

We call ourselves the highest most evolved species and for what? We are supposed to believe in peace, harmony and the right of freedom. Our minds are ingrained with the capacity to use brains when there's something wrong. And yet, there's so much wrong but we are yet to act. I don't understand... I thought this world better than this. I thought that freedom and equality was the sole purpose of our lives on this Earth. When did the mirror I was seeing crack?
          
          This has nothing to do with religion or Hamas. It seems that way but it isn't. There's talk about oil brimming under Palestine thats worth billions and even a new Suez Canal-Ben Gurion Canal. For that to all happen, Israel has to gain the Gaza Strip and drive out all the Palestinians. Whatever it is, is it really right to displace more than 1 million people? 
          
          

For the retaliation of lives taken, can you take thousands more  and wage a war over a country that has no army? Could you justify the death of thousands and bomb cities and towns and buildings just to make up for the one rocket that comes? Could you barge into a country that's not yours - a country that accepted your ancestors with open arms - and start killing with no regard of who it is infornt of the bullet or who is below you?
          
          Is that what being humans is? Shouldn't we have tried to come to a solution that stands with the ones who have faced so much hardships? How is it that Israel has broken so many International laws and committed numerous war crimes and yet the world is quiet? How is it that even after sharing the pictures and the videos of the destruction plaguing the land as well as the videos of broken bloodied matyrs - we're still deathly silent? 
          
          

It's been 52 days. 52 days since October 7th. 1,248 hours since the day that one of the bloodiest and most atrocious massacred started. A genocide that has killed more than 20,000 out of which 8000+ are children. In 52 days, the people of Palestine have lost everything. They've lost literally everything from the safety of their homes, lands and the arms of their loved ones. 
          
          You may call it "self defense" in retaliation because of Hamas. Let me tell you something, they bombed illegal settlements that Israel has set up. Just because I'm saying this doesn't mean I'm a Pro-Hamas or Anti-Semitic. It means I'm a human whose witnessing unspeakable acts done against innocent people.
