From the time I was a little girl I had always dreamed up stories in my head and occasionally wrote them down but becoming a writer was never on my "to do" list as I got older. On more than one occasion I had toyed with the idea of one day trying my hand at writing a novel, but became so busy with life that it never happened. Then Covid hit and everything shut down. Suddenly I found myself with time , opportunity, and a lot of motivation tempered by a bit of fear. After some encouragement from my oldest daughter and husband, I decided there was no better time than the present and so I started my writing journey. Fanfiction offered me the perfect opportunity to play around a bit, but more importantly, it gave me the chance to prove to myself that I could in fact write the novel I had wanted to write. After that, it was an easy transition into original content, the result, my very first novel, Marry Me On Saturday. I am currently working on editing the second book in the Grove Valley series, with the third book in the planning stages.
