I'm looking for hard-nosed reviewers to rip apart my latest story-in-progress. If interested: https://www.wattpad.com/myworks/296868448-knot-worthy-reviews

@Somerschool Funny you should ask that. "Are physical handicaps really a detriment in space?" That's the question that first tickled my mind and got me started on the project. In fact, space could be very liberating to a handicap person. After all, it doesn't matter if you have thin bones or no legs in zero gravity. But there's still that perception of being handicapped and all the coping mechanisms, sense of loss, and bitterness that hang on. That felt like fertile ground for exploring... The rest of the crew is introduced in the next chapter and start getting fleshed out from there. If you're up for reviewing more, fire away! Naturally, I'll take a swing at any of yours. I wouldn't want it to be a one-way street.

So—I have been thinking more about the premise of the High Five. At first glance, it makes perfect sense. But then I begin wondering—not EVERY handicap is compounded by gravity. Are your other four characters merely handicapped, or handicapped in a way that zero G benefits them?

Just got finished reading "The mighty morg", and i can honestly say that its by far one of the best fantasy series i have read on wattpad.

I especially loved the characters, with each being written to be believable and charming in their own rights, even characters i did not like all to much at the start were very soon to grow on me, such as Kadev, with my by far fav character being tied between morg, and moribus, each being extremely memorable, funny, and unique.

And the cliffhanger at the end, gosh, its almost the perfect ending to this part of the series, acting as a culmination to all the tension created between moribus and morg throughout the book, leaving me wanting oh so much more, not only this, but the dragons in the series are very much one of the more creative version i have seen, with them requiring very little exposition to understand the many aspects of them. Cannot wait for more!

@fluffyboiwulf Glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for taking the time to respond. It's definitely very motivating to get back to work on the next book.

@Chaoszhul4D Thanks! Those are words every writer wants to hear, "I want more!" Regrettably, the next book still has a ways to go so it probably won't be ready any time soon. But the nudge helps. :)

Hi, thanks for reading. As you've probably seen, I've moved on to something new at the moment, another attempt at the open novella contest.
How about you? Anything new in the works?

knotanumber

@MauriceArh I've been teasing out some new ideas, and I'm planning on starting a new project soon. While I find contests motivating (I have a very competitive nature), I have an aversion to being boxed in by rules and sticking to a predetermined plot/theme--at least when it comes to writing. So I'm not participating this time around... I'll keep you posted on any new works; I always appreciate your feedback. I'll drop in and check how your novella is progressing and will be happy to read or critique any new works.

VERY helpful feedback on Transient Risk. Thank you. Just what I needed and sort of suspected but didn’t have the gumption to deal with.

@Somerschool Glad it was helpful! As was yours. I've already gone through and done some rework on the places you pointed out. I wish there was an easier way to save off comments in wattpad.
I'm not sure if you listen to podcasts, but your chapter reminded me of an episode I listened to recently that dealt with the topic of abortion in a complex and thoughtful way. The podcast is "The Experiment" and the episode was "In-Between Pro-life and Pro-choice"
