Lily Mae

Books have been my love since I learned to read at the tender age of 4.  I was blessed to have an older sister who had aspirations of being a schoolteacher and turned her little sister into her first pupil.  I'm a private person - and the literary world is my escape - both reading AND writing.

I've always written just for fun ... short stories, poems, short novels ... but have never shared my writing with others.  It's just been my creative outlet.  I'm a very private and self-conscious person, so I don't usually put myself "out there".   I appreciate any and all feedback. 

Perhaps this is a "one and done".  Perhaps it will be the nudge I needed to share more.  Who knows what happens from here, but here goes...
