(n.) - STUDENT BY DAY ,  DEVIL BY NIGHT .  
matt is a twenty-year-old law student of columbia university ,  who is also taking a course in spanish .  he was blinded ten years ago ,  leaving him to rely on his professor's lectures and braille-printed textbooks to succeed in the university .  his blinding left him with some enhanced senses ,  including an extremely keen sense of hearing .  that gift is what led him to put on a blindfold and meet a deadbeat dad with an awful secret ,  finding him at the train tracks .  from there ,  the student beat the man severely ,  and this became the milestone in his life that would lead him further down the long path of vigilantism ,  all while still attending university for his degree to become a lawyer .
