not me thinking about Severus having a little sister who he is very protective of due to their abusive father - him bearing all of the brunt of the abuse just to keep her safe.
She could be a vamp too, and he would always make sure she's fed and taken care of, and would risk his own wellbeing for her sake because she is the only family he has :'(((

Vampire Severus Headcanons :))
- Severus avoids sunlight as much as possible, and whenever he's out he'll use a parasol & sunglasses to cover up.
- he starves himself regularly because it keeps him weakened — but it will also make it far easier for him to lose control.
- he REFUSES to drink a person's blood without their consent first ; even then, he'd most likely refuse. he believes that feeding from another person is a very intimate act.
- he feeds from animals. Deer, rats, rabbits, anything he can catch easily.
- he has a keen sense of smell (still not as good as a dog's) that helps him greatly when it comes to potion making.
- He feeds once a week. He never overindulges.
- he regularly bites his lip/tongue/cheek because of his fangs.
- his nails and teeth get sharper during the nights his self control slips.
- during school breaks he will stock up on animal blood and hide away in his dormitory where he will sleep for days at a time.
- he likes bats. A lot.
