          The girl took a deep breath, her long blonde locks falling into her face as she rose the golden sword above her head. She plunged it down, deep into the chest of the elderly man lying on the ground, begging for mercy. The dark, sticky blood clung to her beautiful hair, tainting it with murder. She shook with fear at her own ruthlessness, tears falling for the life she’d taken. She dropped to the ground, her cornflower blue dress soaking in blood. 
          
            “Well done Ophelia.” A deep voice said from behind her, placing a heavily ringed hand on the small girl’s shoulders. 
          
            “Anything for you father.” The small blonde whispered, concealing her tears
          
          The man didn’t say a word, he just walked away silently. Ophelia stood quietly and walked away from the man that was now lying in a pool of blood. The only sound was of the golden sword scraping across the ground, a sign that the future Queen of Assassins had been there and would return for the next man who dared to cross her father

I once again find myself hiding in the bathroom at work during break...gonna take advantage and start a new HP fic 

Note: all of my female MCs are white? Why? Because I'm white so I only have white experiences. If anyone would like me to write a story with a POC MC, they're going to have to give me insight into that life. I fear being disrespectful.
