          listen, i hate the mauraders so much but i respect if your opinion is different but the people who stan these characters can’t respect my opinion so i’m going off on here. marauders stans are so blind to all the sides and perspectives there are to the character to severus snape because they hate him by default. when they say “sirius and harry were abused at home and they didn’t turn out to be an adult bully” enrages me. first of all why are we putting blood petunia and vernon dudley on the same pedastal as TOBIAS FUCKING SNAPE. these are two completely different levels of abuse. also sirius and harry did have abusive familial backgrounds but for 10 out of the 12 months of the year they were surrounded by friends and teachers who loved them and supported them. snape had lily and even she eventually left him. he had absolutely nobody. he had an abusive father at his home and an abusive environment at school. he could not escape his abuse where as sirius and harry escaped it 10 months a year.

and my personal favorite is when they say “it was a rivalry, snape stans act as if he was innocent”. it could not be considered a rivalry because of the MASSIVE imbalance of power  and rivalry comes with the term equal which was lacking. can someone please tell me what teenage boy could handle 4 people tormenting him all by himself? and as for snape stans acting as if he was innocent, no. we completely see his flaw and faults and we ACCEPT it. we know he wasn’t perfect. marauder stans on the other hand completely disregard their characters faults. i’m all for respecting different opinions but if one more toxic ass marauder stan disrespects my opinion, i will fight tooth and bone in the argument and win to leave them crying to their mother.

another thing that makes me mad is when they say “snape literally stepped over james body, ignored a crying baby, and hugged lily’s corpse” IM SORRY WERE YOU EXPECTING HIM TO PICK UP AND HUG HIS SCHOOL TORMENTER???? and as for hugging lily’s body goes, he literally saw the one person who hes EVER had in his life dead on the floor… if anything i say he reacted to that horrific scene completely and utterly normal as anyone would react to seeing something so scaring.
