Ranjit Kulkarni's work as a writer so far includes novels, short stories and articles, some of which, he is told, have made people smile. He is the creator of the characters, Jigneshbhai and Swami, who appear in many of his columns and books. His writing style, according to readers, is anecdotal and satirical, based on everyday life events and experiences, mixing the mundane with the meaningful, often peppered with humour and wisdom.

Many years back, he also studied Computer Science at NIT Warangal and Management at IIM Lucknow. He worked in the Technology and Management Consulting industry for 23 years before branching out on his own and taking up writing. He loves chocolate and icecream, as all people with a sound mind should. Travel, Investing and Spirituality are his pet passions, when not writing or reading. He lives in Bangalore India and is happy to receive emails at ranjit@ranjitkulkarni.com.
