hi, everyone! i know i haven’t been on here in a while since going on hiatus, and i feel like most of you saw this coming but i just wanted to make an announcement to clear the air! now, i’m going to be a little dramatic because i’m me, but i’ve been on here for a long time and i wanted to make sure everything felt right and came out the way i wanted it to.
          	
          	i’ve decided to permanently leave wattpad, mainly because it just isn’t a priority for me anymore. i find writing to be very tiresome and i fell out of love with it over the past few years. taking a break from wattpad made me realize how much i’d been forcing myself to stay just to complete fics. i realized i was writing more for an audience rather than for me which was what i didn’t want to happen from the beginning. it’s also been taking away from my real-life and i found myself being glued to a screen instead of perusing what i needed to do in order to earn my degree.
          	
          	on top of that, as mentioned above, my education has become my main priority, and that keeps me busy for a good part of the year then burns me out to the point i don’t feel like writing. if i do end up writing again, i think i’ll post it on ao3 but other than that, writing has been put on the back burner and it didn’t feel right to just leave wattpad without an explanation.

with that being said, wattpad has been a big part of my life. i’ve been on here since i was a kid. i practically grew up on here, so it’ll always have a special place in my heart. not only that, but the people i’ve met on here have made it worth while. who knows maybe i’ll end up coming back like the nuisance i am, but i think for the most part, at least for now, i will be permanently leaving this silly little app.
          	  
          	  i thank you all again for accepting me so freely and reading my mediocre writing. i have felt so much love on this app and the comments i’ve received have genuinely made me the happiest i’ve ever been. to all the people who follow me, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, you all mean the world to me. i am so so so grateful i was able to come this far and be welcomed this much. you all will forever be in my heart. and to my friends and mutuals, thank you for treating me with kindness and support. i will forever remember my time on here as a happy little period of my life. 
          	  
          	  it’s been a crazy 7 years, and i couldn’t be happier with the way i’m ending my time on here. without further adieu, thank you for growing up with me, but for now, this is me signing off! take care everyone! i wish you all the very best in your futures!
          	  
          	  (p.s. i’ll be taking down my plot shop and lady lazarus just because there would be no way for me to monitor the plots and the uncompleted fic. however, basket case and the sea and the sun will stay up! thank you to all who have read and will continue to read those silly little fics! mwah!)
